Bridal Gowns
09.22.2009
In the normal course of life, a gown for a young lady is a very special and treasured item of clothing, more so than any of the other dresses hanging in her closet.
From an early age women start dreaming of the dresses that will mark their lifetime milestones. The three most important, to women at any rate, generally all fall within a very short time period, a time when they are young, vibrant and most beautiful. The dresses worn to their confirmation are generally paid for by their parents, and are traditionally all white frocks. A year or two later, at their graduation ball, they will generally have more input regarding design and colour, and these dresses can be seen as a prequel to the most important garment in the closet, their bridal gowns.
The previous occasions will have been trial runs, which women could use to help them define what does and does not work for them. They will have been able to define their body type, which would provide the guidelines as to the style of gown that would suit them best. They will know what type of complexion they have, and this will help define the best colors, or shades to use. Even their hair-style will have a part to play in the eventual decision regarding the final choice of bridal gowns.
Getting married is one of a woman’s most important decisions, and as such deserves to be a really grand and special occasion. On the actual wedding day, the bride deserves to be treated like royalty, and it is her right to appear before her peers, dressed like royalty. Her gown will be the centrepiece of the church service, and is the single item that will create a lasting impression on all present. Whatever the bride wears will immediately put its stamp on the tone of the rest of the proceedings. If the brides’ gown is sophisticated and dignified, fits her as if it was sculpted on her, and matches her coloring in such a way that it appears to be a second skin, she will have succeeded in her goal of being true royalty on her day.
Attaining this high level of perfection does not come easily, and does not happen in just a few minutes. A minimum of six months before the wedding date she will start planning what she will wear, and taking the necessary steps to ensure that not only is her wardrobe complete, but also that she will complement it. She will start taking the necessary steps to ensure her skin is healthy and radiant, and that her hair will be long enough to be able to cut and style as required. In this time, a weight maintenance program will be adhered to, to be sure that all zippers will close, that clips will clip, and all other fastenings will not be left gaping.
Women about to embark into matrimony need to realize, in good time, that beautiful bridal gowns can only be truly beautiful if the women wearing them are radiantly healthy and exude inner and outer tranquillity and beauty.
